Designed with toddlers in mind, these delightful 20-minute presentations introduce musical concepts, offer hands-on activities and encourage lots of movement and dance—free of charge.

Big Bold Brass!

Meet the trumpet, French horn, trombone and tuba in this concert dedicated to our small but mighty brass section.  Those buzzing mouthpieces, vibrating tubes, and flaring bells produce some of the most exciting and beautiful sounds of the orchestra.  Maybe there’s a trombone in your future!

The Art of Listening

How well do you listen? Musicians must concentrate on what they are hearing in order to play well with others.  With some wonderful music by the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, we’ll give those ears of yours a workout and help you learn how to listen to music, and maybe to your mother too.
