Loren Mach

A graduate of the Oberlin and Cincinnati Conservatories of Music, he has premiered countless solo, chamber, and orchestral works. He is principal percussionist of eco ensemble, principal timpanist of San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, a core member of San Francisco Contemporary Music Players and Left Coast Chamber Ensemble, and co-founder of Rootstock Percussion. Loren is an avid hiker, climber, kayaker and cyclist.

Chris Froh

Chris Froh began his study of percussion at the age of eleven. At age twelve, he began studying the marimba, and moved to Japan to study marimba and improvisation with the well-known Japanese composer and pedagogue, Keiko Abe. He returned to the United States to finish his studies at the University of Michigan.

Katie Dennis

Katie is a Bay Area native. She studied music at Northwestern University and The Manhattan School of Music. Comfortable in many genres, Katie spent 27 years in New York playing everything from baroque to bebop. She performed with Mostly Mozart, the New York Pops and held positions in over a dozen Broadway shows. Katie’s favorite experiences as a musician were tours to Southeast Asia, Japan and Europe. She has lived in Mill Valley since 2015.
