In a special treat for our Maestro Circle Members, Maestro Jory Fankuchen and ED Darcy Rindt present an evening of delightful original arrangements and tunes, melding classical greats and alternative music in string quartet form. We presented some of this music at our May 2026 MainStage post-concert receptions and they were so popular we’ll be playing a whole set of music at a beautiful garden setting in Palo Alto with beverages and light bites provided. Sibelius, The Police, Bizet, Coldplay, Dukas, Muse, Tango….and much, much more!

Spanning over 6 hours of live performances, SF Music Day showcases the depth and diversity of the Bay Area music community, featuring artists across classical, jazz, contemporary, traditional, global, interdisciplinary works, and more! Audiences are invited to experience the extraordinary range of artistry in the Bay Area.

The SFCO string section performs Tchaikovsky’s rich and opulent “Serenade for Strings,” one of the most beloved compostitions in our repertoire.
